SDG 10 – Reduce inequality within and among countries

Larissa.Health contributes to SDG 10 by improving equitable access to midwifery and maternal health services, regardless of geography, income, or background. We reduce barriers that prevent vulnerable families from receiving timely care and strengthen the ability of midwives to serve diverse communities. Our approach complements public frameworks and promotes inclusion at scale.

Inequalities in health outcomes reflect inequalities in access – rural versus urban, insured versus uninsured, connected versus disconnected. Many women and newborns are left behind due to distance, cost, or lack of information. Larissa.Health addresses these gaps with affordable, mobile-first tools, transparent workflows, and culturally sensitive information. Our platform supports midwives in reaching underserved populations while protecting privacy and dignity. By enabling more families to access skilled care, we contribute to reducing health disparities both within and across countries.

10.a Implement the principle of special and differential treatment for developing countries, in particular least developed countries, in accordance with World Trade Organization agreements

We align with this principle by designing solutions that are adaptable for low-resource contexts, light in technical demand, and affordable for small practices. Partnerships with global and local actors ensure that developing countries benefit from technological support without disproportionate costs or dependencies.

How we translate this into outcomes

More equitable access – fewer missed contacts for vulnerable groups – culturally sensitive information – stronger continuity across settings.

Measurement notes

We track progress by disaggregating uptake and outcomes by geography, income level, and vulnerability. Alignment reflects contribution and methodology – not endorsement or substitution for national strategies.
