On each SDG page we list the targets we address, the indicators we track, and yearly milestones. Alignment reflects our contribution and methodology; it is not an endorsement. Impact updates are reported annually.

SDG 1 - End poverty in all its forms everywhere

Larissa.Health contributes to SDG 1 by lowering out-of-pocket barriers around pregnancy and birth, improving access to essential services, and connecting vulnerable families to protection schemes through partners.
We focus on practical hurdles that push households into poverty: finding a midwife, booking care, getting trusted guidance, and avoiding preventable costs. Our work complements national programs; we do not replace public social protection.

 

SDG 3 - Ensure healthy lives and promote well-being at all ages

Larissa.Health contributes to SDG 3 by strengthening the midwife-led continuum of care – from early pregnancy through the postnatal period – so that essential contacts happen on time, risk is recognised earlier, and referrals are coordinated faster. We focus on practical levers that move outcomes: frictionless booking, evidence-based prompts, respectful care communication, low-bandwidth follow-ups, and data needed for quality improvement and reimbursement. Our approach complements national strategies and universal health coverage; we are an enabling layer, not a replacement for public health systems.

 

SDG 5 - Achieve gender equality and empower all women and girls

Larissa.Health contributes to SDG 5 by centering respectful, consent-based midwifery care – improving agency, safety, and participation for women and girls. We help make information understandable, choices visible, and referrals safer, while supporting midwives as local female health leaders. Our work complements national frameworks and safeguarding pathways.

 

SDG 9 - Build resilient infrastructure, promote inclusive and sustainable industrialization and foster innovation

Larissa.Health contributes to SDG 9 by building affordable, privacy-preserving digital infrastructure for midwifery, enabling access even in low-resource contexts. We promote inclusive, sustainable innovation by making core health technology usable for small practices and communities, not just large institutions. Our focus is resilience, interoperability, and fair access.

 

SDG 10 – Reduce inequality within and among countries

Larissa.Health contributes to SDG 10 by improving equitable access to midwifery and maternal health services, regardless of geography, income, or background. We reduce barriers that prevent vulnerable families from receiving timely care and strengthen the ability of midwives to serve diverse communities. Our approach complements public frameworks and promotes inclusion at scale.

 

SDG 16 - Promote peaceful and inclusive societies for sustainable development, provide access to justice for all and build effective, accountable and inclusive institutions at all levels

Larissa.Health contributes to SDG 16 by strengthening trust, safety, and accountability in midwife-led care – with privacy-preserving design, clear consent, safeguarding pathways, and transparent governance. We align with public frameworks and help families navigate identity, documentation, and referrals without exposing sensitive data.
